Good morning! Below are some updates about things going on at the school this week.
Report Cards are available for parents to view/save/print from your CBEPowerSchool: https://sis.cbe.ab.ca/public/home.html account for only 30 days. They will not be accessible after that time. Please make sure you print a copy of the report card within the 30 days if you feel you may need it for anything. Please see the attached "How is My Child Doing?" document for information about the CBE report card.
The grade 2 students are travelling to the National Music Centre on Wednesday, January 29th.
The Astrodome, a portable planetarium, is here today and tomorrow. All our grade 4 and 5 students will have a 55 minute presentation in the dome about space.
A reminder that Friday, January 31st is a Professional development day. There is no school for students.
We are working on improving some of the problems we are having with traffic around the school. Thank you to all of you who continue to prioritize student and staff safety by abiding by the rules.The CBE is supporting us with some new signage and we are looking into making our crosswalk more visible. In the days that we have been out observing we have noted concerning issues with drivers travelling through the intersection while students are in the crosswalk. We continue to have people parking in the no stopping zone in front of the school when buses are trying to park. Please respect the signs as posted and do not park in the no stopping zones during our busy times of 8:00 - 9:00 am and 2:15 - 3:30 pm.
