Dear Parents/Guardians:
We look forward to welcoming students back to school tomorrow at 8:27 am. We hope you all had a fabulous break with some fun and lots of relaxation.
A huge thank you to our Teacher Appreciation Committee for organizing the fabulous dinner on Thursday, March 21st. Thanks to all of the parents who contributed to the meal. It was so appreciated.
Tomorrow is World Autism Awareness Day and the kick-off to World Autism Awareness month. To recognize this important day, we would ask you to send your child to school wearing blue. We have several students in our school with Autism and want to show them our support. School spirit wear would be a great choice for tomorrow! A colouring page will be coming home with your child tomorrow with some information about what Autism is. Students can colour the puzzle pieces and then we will display them all.
We have a lockdown practice scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30 am. Please chat with your children about the importance of these practice drills and taking them seriously. Also, reassuring them that it is just a practice and they will be safe in their classrooms would be really helpful. Thank you!
Our School Council has teamed up with our community School Councils at TMC and Eric Harvie to bring you a Parent's Night out on Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00pm at Twelve Mile Coulee Middle School with registered dietician, Andrea Holwegner, for an action packed session for busy parents focused on nourishing healthy eating habits for kids and teens. She will discuss some of the most important meal planning strategies to save time, reduce stress and improve your families’ health.
Please see the invitation attached for more details and save your spot for this event using the sign-up genius link below. (Please note, this event is for adults only. Please further note this presentation will be held at TMC School, and not at Tuscany School)

Swimming is set to start on April 22nd for students in grade 1-3. Please return the off-site forms to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Also, the fee has been added to your account to pay prior to swimming starting.
Please take a moment to check your MyCBE account for any outstanding fees. There are still outstanding fees for several field trips including skiing, Evergreen theatre and some of the other in-school experiences. Thank you so much for keeping your account up to date. If you have any problems or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
School Council has secured another casino this month to raise important funds for our school. They are still in need of a few volunteers so if you can help out, please contact tuscanycasinochair@gmail.com.
School Council would like to continue to offer a Kiss ‘n Drop program at Tuscany School, but we need your help! The dual purpose of this program is to support students to arrive safely at school and alleviate traffic and parking congestion during morning drop off times. This program relies heavily on volunteers, and cannot facilitate without a Kiss ‘n Drop Chair. The Kiss n’ Drop Chair would be responsible for organizing volunteers to be at the Kiss n’ Drop each morning and would likely volunteer themselves some mornings. If you are interested, please reach out to tuscanycouncilchair@gmail.com.
