Dear Parents/Guardians,

Next week, our school will be hosting the Scholastic French Book Fair (March 17-20)! Purchases made during this event directly support our school library, so we appreciate your consideration. Due to our online School Conferences, we will be making adjustments to our purchasing schedule. Please see the following options:

1. Send cash with your child/ren - If you would like your child/ren to make purchases during the book fair, we highly encourage you to send cash to school for purchasing during the school day, all week.
2. After school parent purchasing- If this does not work well for your family, we will be opening the book fair for in-person parent purchases Monday-Thursday, 3:00-3:30 pm. Due to the ongoing CUPE 40 Strike, we must have all purchases completed each day by 3:30, to ensure the school is vacated for cleaning.
3. Online purchasing at reduced fundraising rate - If you are unable to send cash with your child/ren, or attend in-person, we have arranged for an online option for parents using our school library's online class code. This still helps raise money for our library, but at a reduced rate. Please visit Scholastic and use the code RC102002 to make purchases that support our library. These will be delivered to the school and sent home with your child/ren.
4. NO purchases can be made in-person during School Conference times.

We are also looking for volunteers to support the Book Fair running smoothly both during the school day and after school. If you are available, have a confirmed Police Information Check, and have registered as a volunteer in our school office, please sign up. Thank you in advance for your support.
